Looking for a cozy winter project? Join me for this two-weekend, four-day workshop where you'll learn the basics of natural dyeing and machine quilting while creating something beautiful by hand. During the first weekend, we'll explore natural dyeing on cotton fabric, covering mordanting, simple surface design techniques, and plenty of color. You'll leave with a vibrant rainbow collection of hand-dyed fabrics that will be ready for quilting by our next session.

When we come back together for the second weekend, we'll dive into the basics of machine quilting. You'll learn foundational quilting techniques as you sew a small wall quilt using your own naturally dyed fabrics. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a finished mini quilt, a stack of colorful hand-dyed fabric to take home, and the confidence to keep stitching on a larger winter quilting project.

One spot is saved for a scholarship position. This scholarship covers 50% of the total cost of the workshop experience.
