Growing a Dye Garden

Growing a Dye Garden

$75.00

Spring is the perfect time to plant a dye garden and begin the yearly cycle of growing your own natural colors for fiber arts projects.

In this informative afternoon workshop, learn which dye plants thrive in Western North Carolina, along with practical tips for planting, spacing, growing conditions, harvesting, and seed collection. Discover how to cultivate and care for plants that can bring a rainbow of natural color to your creative practice throughout the seasons.

This workshop focuses on growing and cultivating natural dye plants, rather than the process of dyeing with them.

Limited plants and seeds will be available for purchase, and additional sourcing information will be provided for those who wish to grow their own dye garden at home.
